As summarized by the ASU libraries, our work at Arizona State University takes place on land inhabited by twenty-two Native Nations that have inhabited this land for centuries. We especially honor the ancestral Akimel O’odham and Pee Posh Indian Communities and the current Salt River Pima-Maricopa and Gila River communities for their contributions to the Salt River Valley. The ASU American Indian Student Support Services office offers opportunities for indigenous students to build community and access resources.
